TowWithin Data Deletion Request
This page explains how to delete data associated with TowWithin, the Android app published by QuassLabs, Inc. (com.quasslabs.towwithin).
TowWithin has no accounts and no sign-in. Almost everything the app stores is on your phone and never reaches us, so most deletion happens entirely on your device and is immediate.
Option 1 — Delete everything on your device (immediate)
- Open TowWithin.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Clear All Data and confirm.
This permanently erases your saved vehicle and trailer setups, your calculation history, and your app preferences. It cannot be undone, and we cannot recover them for you. Uninstalling the app has the same effect.
Option 2 — Request deletion of data on our servers
- Email taylor@quass.org with the subject "TowWithin data deletion request".
- Tell us the approximate date you used the app and any promotional code you redeemed.
- We will confirm by reply and delete what we can identify, within the period required by applicable law — 45 days under CCPA, 30 days under GDPR.
We ask for the date and promo code because TowWithin never collects your name, email, or account. Our server records are keyed to a random anonymous identifier, so those details are the only way we can locate records belonging to you. Records we cannot link to you are already effectively anonymous.
What is deleted, what is kept
