Draft teams, not players.
CFB Fantasy reimagines college football fantasy by flipping the draft unit. Instead of picking individual players, you draft entire FBS teams — organized by state. All 134 FBS teams are sorted into states, each state carries different point values, and scoring is based on win percentage rather than individual stats.
By drafting at the team and state level, CFB Fantasy captures the regional rivalries and conference dynamics that make college football unique — something player-based formats miss entirely.
Key capabilities.
- State-based draft — all 134 FBS teams organized by state; each state carries its own point value weighting
- Snake draft format — leagues support 2 to 12 players with standard snake draft order
- Auto-draft — automatic draft based on projected point output rankings for players who can't pick manually
- Win-percentage scoring — points awarded to the top 2 teams per state by win percentage each week
- Full season coverage — runs from week zero through the national championship game
- Commissioner tools — league creation and management controls for the commissioner
Architecture and engineering role.
Brought in as architect via AppsTango — responsible for system design, data model, and technical architecture. This included the state-based team organization model, the draft engine supporting snake order and auto-draft, and the win-percentage scoring pipeline that runs weekly through the full FBS season.
